Gamestec appoint new Managing Director
Chris Butler joins leading UK gaming group from Punch Taverns
Gamestec, the leading player in the UK gaming and amusement machines sector, has announced the appointment of Chris Butler as Managing Director.
Chris has more than 20 years senior management experience within the gaming industry as an operator, manufacturer and retailer. He joins Gamestec, part of Danoptra Gaming Group, from Punch Taverns where he was Director of Machines & Vending.
Mr Butler said: “I’ve watched Gamestec’s progress over the past couple of years and have been impressed how the management have grown the business so successfully.
“I join the company during exciting times for the UK games and amusement industry which present us with many challenges and opportunities. And, in many ways, it’s a home from home for me as 23 years ago I left Music Hire, now part of Gamestec – so my career has come full circle.”
Mr Butler takes up his position at Gamestec early next month (March).
